I thought it was awesome. If you were a fan of the first one, which you probably are if you are planning on seeing TGM, then you will love how this one kind of parallels the first one before diverging and going in very different directions then back to the parallel for the end. I thought this one is funnier than the first one. This could be one of the few sequels that tops the original and I’m an 80’s kid who’s seen Top Gun no less than fifty times in my life, maybe more. I thoroughly enjoyed it! I highly recommend an IMAX to watch this film. Not sure what Tom Cruise is drinking, but it seems to be from the fountain of youth. This doesn’t come across as he’s too old for this but did it anyway, Cruise looks great and hasn’t skipped a beat, and Mile Teller does so well my son asked me if he was the actor that played Goose in the first one! Two thumbs up for sure!!!

Fantastic movie. Great characters with solid acting by Gerard Butler and Jonny Weston. Easily one of my favorite surfing movies.
