I enjoy the concept of this show but think it must be the lowest prize paying quiz show around. How much had been paid out over the whole running t to one of The Chase Australia? What had been the average payout? What’s the point of the new Mega Spin if next to no one wins anyway?

I’m watching tonight’s episode and am becoming increasingly frustrated by the unnecessary repetition of pretty well everything. I don’t think the audience is so stupid that they need to see everything two or three times before they understand it. Is this simply a cost saving device? Ten minutes of original filming enough for a while episode? Whatever the reason it is frustrating enough to put me off watching the programme.
