Absolutely love this film and its a fantastic entry point for new fans interested in Tolkien Lore! The art direction is that of a story book thanks to Lester Abrams with the artwork of Arthur Rackham as its guide! The character designs are unique and still stand out from other fantasy stories to this day, with Tsuguchi Kubo and Fred Wolf doing the character designs( this is still years before they'd work on Thundercats) so you know they're in good hands! The music is memorable, the Goblins, Spiders and Gollum are terrifyingly awesome and all with a wonderful painted backgrounds! Highly recommend this masterpiece to all!

While the show does a good job with its characterization and interactions with one another, it fails to deliver on the actual lore and history the show is named after. Any chance of that is glossed over in favor of what the show wants to represent- same sex lovers, diversity and friendship. Any resemblance of classic She-Ra story or characters are very very low in this latest incarnation.

Rocko's Modern Life is a creative cartoon series made in the 90s that had a fun satirical perspective of modern-day living with social commentary added in. It stars Rocko, a Wallaby, and features stories of he, his friends and other characters living in O-Town. While it has some gross-out humor similar to Ren and Stimpy, the show was very vibrant and stood out on its own. It would always try to push the envelope on the numerous adult innuendos as well. The show also played off phrases and expressions such as Raised by Wolves as Rocko's best friend Heifer is literally adopted and yes, Raised by Wolves. I would highly recommend the show to anyone who wants to get a good laugh out of life and enjoy seeing one of the few most mild-mannered characters undergo the most mundane things in our society but with huge comedic effect! Many of the acolytes in the show have been seen in SpongeBob and Fairy odd parents- so if you love those shows definitely go to Rocko to get the source of where it all came from!
