"Fans" who only 'like' Winx because of childhood nostalgia are the only ones who hate on this show. Disregarding how innocent the original cartoon was, the new drama (for 2020's teenagers) is a MASTERPIECE. It's so well written and I highly admire the new worldbuilding and how unexpected some of the events played. I also like how the characters and their relationships are realistic and complex. It's generally well designed and well written. Though I halfway agree with the complaints of the wardrobe outfits they chose for the characters, it's not really important or relevant to the story so it doesn't matter at all. I recommend this show to anyone who's into the magic, adventure, drama, or soft horror genre!

It is so eye-opening and so realistic. I've never watched a show like this before. Sure, I've seen other survival/death/game shows, but this one stands out by sticking to the realism of human nature. Most shows would want their ending to be happy (at least for the main protagonist) because they'd want their viewers to feel comfortable or to feel like justice has been served right, but this show doesn't do that. People in the 1 star review sections complain about how they didn't like the ending or that they didn't like how one protagonist betrayed another...etc, but they don't realize that the show wasn't made for what they want. Squid Game was not created to make you feel comfortable. It was created to reflect reality and it does it to a T. It exposes the world that we live in in form of a fictional horror-drama, and whether we like it or not that's just how the world is. I appreciate how it brought awareness to the topic, especially to the teens and tweens of my generation that's still discovering life as it is. I can't wait to see where it goes if they make a second season; I just hope they don't ruin it!

I watched it for my Spanish class and it was AWESOME. At first, I expected it to be a low-quality movie with simple language just for the sake of the language class (just all the other movies I watched for French class) but the more it played the better it got. The plot was perfectly crafted and I love how it portrays the life of immigrates so accurately but also in a way thats enjoyable to watch. Carlitos is the ideal son we wish we all could have. Totally recommend this movie!!!

the aesthetic, the vocals, the various up and low beats, and different meanings of the songs with yet all of them relating to love somehow! miss americana & the heartbreak prince in a lyrical clever masterpiece, cruel summer and lover are extraordinary songs in every aspect as well. she nailed the theme she was trying to portray, even in songs like ME! and you need to calm down. the synthic pop sounds are satisfying especially in the archer. my personal favorites are london boy and afterglow.

im only giving it a 1 because it isnt my kind of bop, im more of pop person. i do think taylor swift nailed it as a folk album, but i wouldn't put it on again. i also hope she isnt going to make another folk album again... personally i was a little bit disappointed when this came out. again, she totally nailed it as a folk album, but depressing slow and calm songs i can't relate to aren't my jam, and this album is a least favorite. also whats with the F word now?
