I did not expect such a movie from surya and karthi... I find gender discrimination at its heights... and it also seems to promote bigamy and misogyny... it portrays women in poor light and they are reduced to chattels A man wants to marry the 3rd time as he has no son... this is accepted by all... are girl children byproducts who are born in the process of having a male child? truly a regressive idea... why should there be a man to protect the woman... why can't we raise daughters who are capable of looking after themselves.. If this is village life and custom... we are better off without it....
