Just finished watching this tear jerker. Great acting from the whole cast. Definitely recommend it to anyone who likes KDrama. There is so much I'd like to add but it's better that you simply watch it.

This is the best serious drama I have seen on Asian TV. It has all the ingredients you need - deceit, political intrigue, love, illegitimate children, overbearing seniors. The plot is fantastic and I've struggled to find another drama that is anywhere near this calibre. First class actors no matter how small a role. You need to watch this.

As usual the acting was superb. The story flowed and kept your interest till the end. The drama was worth the time watching. The only thing that I didn't enjoy was down to the writers and it was that the female lead left him on a few occasions to return home early etc which is not what I'd expect. The rest of the cast were great too and not superfluous to the main story. I recommend this drama and I will be looking for more dramas, with these actors, to watch.

I saw the first Disney film of Mulan years ago and loved it. I've just watched the 2009 Chinese film and thought it was fantastic. I'm now going to watch the new 2020 Mulan film to compare. I'm sure it will be good but it will have a hard time to eclipse the 3009 film I've just watched. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

A must see if you like action, drama, love and tragedy - it's a superb historical drama with the two male leads setting very high standards. It inspired me to follow the careers of these two and I haven't been disappointed yet. Must add that I also discovered Yang Hyuk who is another top class actor - again I follow his work and a recent one that you must not miss is Money Flower

Great plot and all first class actors. This drama has a couple of good twists in it. Don't miss it if you like Park Si-hoo and top quality K Dramas

Another first class drama starring Park Si-hoo. He adds class to anything he's in. Plot is good and it is well worth watching - I'm having withdrawal symptoms as I have seen all his works!

Really sad in parts but well worth watching. The actors are first class especially Park Si-hoo. Not to be missed if you enjoy historical dramas.

Great drama and excellent acting. Far Eastern dramas are so much better than Western ones where graphic sex is used to hold the audience. These dramas have great storylines and great chemistry to hold the audience. I now intend to watch all of Rain's subsequent dramas!

i enjoyed this film - good actors - but it was so dark throughout that it was like watching in black and white
