I don’t wish to be disrespectful towards Jewish people; perhaps because i am not Jewish I have missed something in this film, but for me it was boring, annoying and pointless. It seemed that a notable actor/director utilised his money and skill to drag us along in his self indulgent personal expression of his experience. Which can often make a sensational and moving film … I prefer fact based movies; but this one is just boring. At the very least, it should not be categorised or described as a comedy! I’m not sure if the two main actors normally speak in real life like they do in the movie, and even though they are millennials, it seemed ridiculous that 2 grown men still say ‘like’ or ‘fuck’ every second word. I’m not averse to either word, but it destroyed any credibility in the 2 characters early on, for me. The music and scenery are stunning, and of course although very few of them, the scenes at the concentration camp need no words. Don’t waste your time or money on this one.

Dreadful. If i could give no stars, i would!! Slow, monotonous, pointless.

Total fantasy but entertaining, suspenseful and lots of ‘eye candy’ 😉
