My 14yo and I enjoyed this movie. The visuals were outstanding, water effects were flawless, perfect symphony notes in the correct places, and my teen loved the under-sea glow theme. Jason Momoa seemed to take the character from the comics and leap into this character with just the exact ruggedness it called for. I do feel Mera could have been played by a better actress like Alicia Vikander or Blake Lively. Hopefully, they will find someone else before the next movie.
