This is a great guide for anyone looking to get started in tracing their family history. There are lots of suggestions for effectively gathering information from family members, and also invaluable tips for internet research. The use of lots of visuals, charts and bullet points made it quick and easy to read. It is perfect for beginners to genealogy, but also made me think a bit about my own research techniques. Although I've been researching my family history for some time, there were quite a few good tidbits in here that I will use going forward in my own work.
