It's an "early access" game right now. This does not change the fact that it is quite fun. Think of it as Project Zomboid lite, with much better graphics.
It has a pretty extensive crafting tree, you can upgrade almost everything you get. The map is huge and varied. Combat is fun and easy once you get the hang of it. I hear there is or will be base building in it too but I haven't gotten to the "end game" yet as I believe at this time you are limited to a level 26 cap until further patches.
***Edit*** I forgot about cooking, fishing and farming as usable skills.
In closing, this is the kind of game I would like people to support. So I wrote this to push you over the edge in spending that 20$ (or whatever they happen to be charging, it may be less). Its on Steam and GoG for sure and its worth checking out!
