A Role Playing Game is only a true rpg if the player gets to choose everything about their character. Having special abilities from the start and putting you into a role you did not choose is just an adventure game with some rpg aspects. If I want to start off as a slave and work my way up to god-like abilities, I should be able to in a true rpg. Hogwart's Legacy is not an rpg either. If it is, then so is Batman. You play the role of Batman. Bogus.
Don't get me wrong, this game looks amazing and I will play the snot out of it for a few thousand hours, I just want more freedom of choice about my character and the role I wish to play in ANY game that calls itself an rpg. You should at least have the choice to opt out of beginning special character traits. I never wanted to be Dragonborn in Skyrim and I don't want evil growing inside me from the start that I have to deal with in some designed story for my character. I don't want to go through the same story as everyone else and a lot of people I know feel the same way. Sorry for the negativity but I tire of the use of rpg as a selling point when that term has lost it's meaning because of marketers and advertisers needing to increase sales. Thank goodness for modders.
