Just no. The characters aren't even portrayed like they were in the anime. I watched this movie with my friends and they think the same way. The anime is so good and the movie just changed the whole plot AND story line. The names of the characters were also changed! Light Yagami is now Light Turner and Misa Amane is now Mia Sutton. It's also set is America when it was supposed to be set in Japan! And Mia was controlling Light when Light was supposed to control Misa/ Mia! Overall, I think this movie is just so bad.
