Season 6 completely ruined this show. For those of us who love spy thrillers, and a character and storyline with holes but willing to overlook it for a character who was engulfed by her commitment to country, CIA and the life... season 6 gives us a Carrie that hates the CIA. Having run with more realistic scenarios in the first seasons where radicals are treated as radicals and having come face to face with terrorism, this season 6 Carrie has completely given into Hollywood's ridiculous social justice warrior political arena where she doesn't understand how or why anyone could ever see a threat in a boy who is posting pro-jihadist videos online. Extremely stupid twist and not any logical reason for why many of us started watching except to appease the leftist Hollywood elite. She hates the CIA etc. The only redeeming quality is that this season does a great job of calling out the deep state. It would've been awesome to keep the storyline of an unpredictable Carrie who worked within to unravel the corruption as opposed to turning her into some ridiculous activist. In summary of the stupidity of this season where the CIA is working on counterterrorism and foiling plots and she's working as an activist with a lawyer... she tells Saul Berenson.. "You worry about saving the world, I'll worry about more important stuff". Is there any group aside from a social justice, college activist leftist group that would think that she is actually doing more important things than working against terrorist threats? This is more frustrating than Brody's stupid daughter in seasons 1 & 2.
