I’ve been reading these books somewhat out of order until book 10. Now I am reading them in order and recently finished Glass Houses which I thought was superb. Louise Penny told a complicated story in an easy to understand way by going back-and-forth between the trial (which was held in the summer) and going back to the previous fall when everything took place. This book kept me guessing and as usual the characters did not disappoint. It’s very easy to get lost in the enjoyable village of Three Pines.
