So glad I persevered with this and watched beyond the first episode. It's funny but deep and sad while the acting is brilliant. In one scene with Deborah (Olivia Colman) driving and silently crying her facial movements alone were award winning, in my opinion. As each character develops and evolves I was cheering each on, in their individual struggle with mental health and quirkiness.
