It's nice to see comics/webtoons be re-created into a live figure serie but HellBound is one of them that shouldn't been re-created. This serie was poor to watch, everything about it didn't make sense whatsoever which most of ya'll who rated it below 3 stated. It lacked explanation especially the characters, like how did Min Hye-Jin become Chun-Li? What happen to the policeman and his daughter, for a sec i thought he was the main protagonist? The storyline overall just didn't make sense. With only 6 episode under 50mins per eps, it took me 3 days to finish when it roughly should've taken me a day to finish, thats because none of it made sense. Although, the show is called HellBound but how could someone receive a prophecy without sinning? Is it really God's work though is the question? The show literally lacks explanation, like not any explanation on the monsters who are the main subject in the serie. I had two things i disliked about the show and that was the CGI baby, could they not have used an actual baby for the show? And this is my sensitive side, but they were wrong for making us viewers watch elderly people get beat up and eventually murdered. That was disturbing to watch, like thats actually relevant to todays society, numerous of elderly people are being harmed and threatened and stuff like that shouldn't even be portrayed in the film industry. Honestly, overall the kdrama is one of the most unexplained kdrama i've seen. Watch if you like violently bloody scenes but if you are someone who likes a good storyline with explanations, HellBound is not it.
