Blue Sapphire

The only good thing in this series are Rufus Sewell & Chela Horsdal’s Portrayal of the Smiths. The series premise is fascinating but they turned it into a God awful soap opera where you are hoping the series heroine gets murdered due to her lack of acting skills. I can’t believe she got top billing over Rufus. It’s the kind of acting you see on soap operas. Her hair does better acting than she does. Every single female character in the series has their hair up, except for her, because she does have great hair but cannot act her way out of a paper bag. There are so many great supporting actors in the series Just wasted on a cookie cutter Hollywood generic script. So many cringe worthy over the top acting school dropout moments. After season two, I just fast forwarded to the Smiths and the antique dealer because I didn’t care about anybody else. I don’t know how Alexa Davalos was given the title role. She must know somebody. Horrible choice, ruined the series. Perhaps you should screen test people before you give them an entire series. Great visuals & photography. Could’ve been good, sadly it’s not.
