So much to enjoy in Mud. Rustic river scenery, boys growing up outside on the move, trust, strict parents that are so preoccupied with their own issues that they can't stay connected with the kid, mysterious ole neighbor, young girls sharpening their claws, and self reliance. So much to learn from disappointment, being resourceful, attraction vs love, taking a punch then getting on with it and helping others dealt a poor hand.
