It wasn’t terrible but it’s just another feather in the cap of the barely adequate DC film series in my opinion. I think I would rather have my time spent watching the movie back. I just don’t understand why they can’t make an action packed and suspenseful film? Spoiler alert. Too many coincidental solutions, to extensive problems jampacked into one movie.
A 1940s pilot who has returned to life due to the wish of his once girlfriend, in the body of another person, is able to sneak into an airbase museum where he and Wonder Woman steal a modern jet plane that he somehow knows how to fly.
Suddenly she remembers “radar“ but is able to counter it by recalling her fathers magic disappearing skill and making the jet invisible, at just the right moment?! Not to mention, why is the plane fully fueled with batteries and ready to go?
Then conveniently Wonder Woman is able to not only lasso clouds but also lightning bolts and can fly?!
Then she has a fight with Cheeta/Minerva, who is able to destroy an ancient battle armor that somehow wonder woman just appears with in battle?!
Wonder Woman, instead of fighting the the wish grantee Max Lord with all she has, is able to talk down billions of people from keeping their wishes to get him to recant his wish. Everyone loves a good movie about psychoanalysis.
And at the end she is standing next to the poor fellow who’s body was kidnapped by her boyfriend, looking at the sky. It’s going to be a great day!
