Just finished watching all 8 episodes straight through without fast forwarding. I deserved better. We all did.
Jupiter's Legacy is a thoroughly derivative superhero/superanti-hero yarn. Some good action scenes but not nearly enough to make up for the scattershot pious angst posturing as conflicted morality posing as a script. The writing is seriously lacking in originality with precious little joy, humor, or sexual interplay to cut the deadly somberness. Also, there are too many folks with different powers. Forget character development, they come and go so fast, it's impossible to put faces to names.
Loved the 1920's origin scenes for the set design and photography. But, like many of the supportive plot lines, it would have been better served with it's own well constructed episode. Also very good performances, especially from the leads. That said, would find it hard to invest watching many more episodes if they don't put at least a few original concepts on screen.
