Well acted beautiful cast , intriguing plot , well layered characters, it's ashame the show was cancelled just after two seasons,.One of the best shows on television.Ansel Elgort ,Ken Watanabe as well as the supporting cast give complex nuanced textured performances. Based on actual events about an American reporter named Jake adelstein( played by Ansel Elgort) working for the Tokyo newspaper station "The Miecho" gets involved with the Yakuza underground trying to uncover a sinister takeover by one of the opposing crime bosses known as the Tozowa crime family he ends up teaming with Tokyo Police Detective (Ken Watanabe) to crack down on the Yakuza's secret dealings and impending transition to a new modern world order . A definite recommend only slight irritation is that the show is 60 to 70% in Japanese so be prepared to read a lot of subtitles.

Use to watch it as a kid always liked the poster , Bob hoskins as mario was great.

I'm only 4 episodes into season 2 and it's already better than season 1 non stop action , intense characters and a great story behind it can't wait to see the other episodes a must watch .
