It doesn’t really make sense, It’s pretty dang cringy. Apparently it’s ok the basically murder or beat someone almost to death just because they’re not in “the crew.” Don’t even get me started with Veronica, I swear if she says “Daddy” one more freaking time I’m going to throw my tv. Who on earth tries acting like they’re this 50 year old grown business woman but calls there father “daddy” even when making SOOOO many annoying repetitive empty threats like she’s so big and powerful then fails again, and again, and again. But yet the cockiness and threats don’t slow down and literally every single scene with her and her dad. She says the word “daddy” probably 10 times each scene. It’s beyond cringy and repetitive and snooping. No one acts there age it makes zero sense! You also don’t have any idea what year it is. They’ll talk like they’re from 1600’s then make a 2021 pop culture reference while wearing clothes from the 1950’s? Betty thinks she’s some bad A and who acts like she never needs help and knows everything but yet fails over and over and over. But same as Veronica, the cockiness “I’m a hard bad A” act never leaves. It’s ridiculous. Then the relationships and “sex scenes” are horrible as if these teenage couples have been married to each other there entire lives and are “so mature” because they’re 20. Then there’s the whole we are so mature and grown up (even though we are in our lower 20’s) if you’re so freaking grown up then why on earth are you still dancing trying out to be on the dance team? Why on earth are you dancing and singing as the high school football game half time show? Like grow up and get a life. Or stop acting like you’re 50 and have experience life and actually are mature. Makes zero sense!!!! But Veronica saying “daddy” a million times takes the cake by far. Really writers?? Daddy, really? Weak sauce..

Worse show out of the series vampire diaries and the originals. Because Hope Michaels isn’t in the other two shows. (Main character) I have never watched a show where I’ve wanted a “good guy” to die. Hope Michael’s is trash. (Main character) long story short. She thinks she’s untouchable and she’s not. Anytime danger comes everyone tells her no hope don’t do it. Because she has an awful personality and this false confidence that she is a bad a. She goes anyways, messes it up, hurts herself. Then spends the second half of every episode feeling sorry for herself. No one ever calls her out on her BS. It’s really annoying. If she doesn’t get what she wants or if it doesn’t benefit her she throws a fit. But even worse is this attitude she has that is SOOOO cringy! It’s annoying and a waste of your time. All the other characters are great. Hope ruins the show. Sad, the main character tanks the show. If they actually made her bad A and not a cringy self absorbed hypocrite. The show would be pretty good.

THIS IS NOT A RELIGIOUS REVIEW. It’s a good show for the most part. Positives: it’s unique and different from your average “cop/detective” show. It has pretty good acting. It’s pretty addicting. Negatives: it’s really hard to watch without cringing just watching Lauren German (main woman character) dang Botox and plastic surgery. It’s literally that distracting when the main characters face barely moves and her top lip doesn’t move at all. I tend to only stare at her top lip trying to figure out what is going on there and toon out. Some of the characters story lines just drag on. It can get extremely repetitive especially the love story lines. My biggest problem is Lucifer (main character) and detective Decker (main woman character) Lucifer talks throughout the show how he’s the devil and “dad, dad, dad, dad” who is god. He’s constantly saying he’s the devil and she barely acknowledges it not believing any of it and acts like it’s 100% normal someone acts and talks like that. There are SOO many times he could just show his wings or his face but never does. Also it’s like the special effects team are super lazy because you rarely see Lucifer (normal looking human) as the actual devil (red face and eyes with wings) You see his real face maybe 3 times. The other 3 times they just light up his eyes. It’s really lame. If you’re the devil you’re whipping out your devil face constantly I mean come on.. so instead they just show his wings a couple times. So the whole devil thing really fades when you barely see (the actual devil.) season 3 is simply trash. The whole season is literally Pierce (trying to get Decker (main woman) to like him. They he blows it. Then the rest of the season is him trying to get her back. It’s super lame and again dragsss on. Same with Lucifer he falls for her then blows it then tries to get her back. It’s super annoying. I guess it takes 3 seasons for the main character to just say how he feels for a girl. Then when he finally does guess what happens? Nothing, absolutely nothing but dragging it on even more after he ends up not saying anything. And the amount of times you hear “dad” (god) Lucifer always blaming “dad” for literally everything in just about every episode gets super old. Last thing, How convenient they make it when solving murders. Instead of being complex and not knowing the killer. It’s pretty dang predictable every time. And how they solve them. They’ll be looking through files and woah would you look at that. A super random flier of a rock concert that happens to be sitting there on another table with the killers picture on it. Get use to that.

Pretty good show. But I CANT STAND Jess (the girl) she literally ruins the show. She’s not funny whatsoever and is super obnoxious and cringeworthy. I’ve watched the entire show and Jess didn’t make me laugh once. Not even close. The super immature, pretty eyed, cheesy, innocent, oh silly me always messing up, singing voices, weird cartoon voices, acting and talking like a freaking 10 year old, hypocritical, judgmental, clueless, straight up B**** personality, oh poor me, thinks she knows everything, won’t accept any advice, has to control everyone’s life, gets SOOO OLD. It honestly gets so unbearable I have to turn it off at times. I literally fast forward every time I see her and laughed more when she wasn’t on the screen. If they had someone else as her character that didn’t just obnoxiously giggle thinking that’s comedy and was at least somewhat funny. This show would be SO much better. But she ruins it. It’s honestly sad how not funny she is. Especially compared to the guys. But Schmidt (my favorite) Nick, Winston, Cece, coach, (other main characters) are the reason this show can be funny. The show also gets all political (democratic) later on which was a big turn off. The show also gets really slow and boring at times it just drags on. So when you have to deal with Zooey plus the Jess character plus boring scenes it gets REALLY hard to watch. And they completely rip on the Jewish community. Gets pretty racist. And they literally say or talk about “sex” just about every episode Gets old. The guys make and are the show.

This show is awesome. My only problem with the show is the mom character. Almost every time she talks I want to punch a wall. She is super disrespectful and is so rude to everyone even her family. She complains about everything in every episode so that part gets SUPER old real quick. She can be funny but her arrogance and rudeness completely over shadows her being funny so it’s a drag (AS FAR AS A COMEDY) But everyone else is hilarious. Eddie is my hero! A straight up gangster! I’m not sure how accurate this is when it comes to Asian American family chemistry and life style. I’m pretty positive it’s not accurate (not sure) but regardless it has truly opened my eyes and humbled me seeing the types of pressure and near impossible standards Asian American kids live with on a daily basis from there parents even if the kids are happy or not. But WARNING: it does target white people A LOT and (my opinion) I feel they’re not at all accurate about white people in this show. So I can see why some might be offended. But I’m pretty sure this isn’t accurate for both Asian American families and white suburb families. But instead more of a 90’s based family comedy sitcom. So don’t take it to seriously. But is a good watch. 6.5/10
