The film is visually stunning, Pixar always does a great work in animation. Regretfully, the story wasn't well developed, it felt like a lot of shorts were joined together and didn't have any connection but were all paced by a very general line that couldn't get through... Also, they disregarded all of the original characters personalities, as if they forgot about them or didn't care. Their reactions sadly felt forced. The team that worked in this film made quite a bad job conveying the Toy Story universe. It feels like a way different narrative. I'm not even sure if it hits the spot with the kids as it has a lot of references that most of them wouldn't be able to get. I'd say this instalment doesn't make any justice to the previous films. Putting that aside... it can be entertaining, has its moments and a few funny jokes.
