I legitimately cried at the end. This book is so heart wrenchingly sad, it reminds me of the original Frankenstein book, in the sense that there's this poor entity, whose misunderstood and unloved by mostly everyone, but one person, and even they end up disliking them. I just feel like these two (Frankenstein's monster and Lennie) are so similar in so many ways. This book is definitely worth reading; it really plucks at your heartstrings, that's for sure!
