A film ahead of its time. As the ending credits rolled on my screen the statement came to my mind. This film was indeed ahead of its time. Rajit Kapur and Manisha Koirala essayed their characters really well, I would like to watch more films like this. The rating this film has received is based on the audience of 2009, released at a time when the audience lacked to understand the philosophy of the film, the spectrum, and the dimension this film was produced to showcase to audience, it can also be due to poor promotion of the film. This film could also be presented to those with an acquired taste. I highly recommend the film, Rajit Kumar did a fantastic job portraying his character and demonstrated his fine acting skills in the swiftest and most subtle style. Alongside co-star Manisha Koirala, played her role with a sense of understanding and charisma, which made me forget this was the same heroine from the 90s. This is a must-watch film, to better understand the film you need to sit there alone or with those with fine cinematic taste and discuss the nuance, ambiance, the atmospheric bubble it creates. This can be considered modern-day alternate cinema. This film features, a gay lyricist down on his luck, an escort, and her disabled boy who come together and form an unpredictable bond and become a family. Enjoy.
