This film so confrontingly and powerfully illustrates the stupidity and futility of war. The film takes you through all the emotions. But for me the strongest was the pure hatred for the old men - and in todays world the powerbrokers- sitting comfortably in luxury while making decisions to treat the common persons life with such disdain. I can only hope it is powerful enough to make the general populace reject all future war mongering.

weak characters. plot is all over the place. Too long winded. Hard to keep interested for 8 episodes.
