Another disappointing film. As a fan of the first 2, I went into this with chill expectations, I was all for an over the top fun movie, like the others that were genuinely really enjoyable. This film was irritating to sit through, as it doesn't know what it wants to be. Felt like a war drama with moments of awkward comedy. It lacks the humour, the charecter development, nothing here is memorable. It's an effortless attempt to keep a franchise going, yet again. I don't head out to the cinema much anymore, because films just aren't that good, not ones you'd expect to be. I'm sick of wasting money on nonsense. You may be satisfied with this latest Installment, but I thought it was rubbish. Poor, boring, just a whole lot of nothing and a confused script.

The social trend these days is to make everything as woke as possible, just to please some feminists. This film, does exactly that. Its not the matrix, its just an awful parody that feels like it was made by someone whose goal was to completely ruin everything about the matrix. Back in 1999, the first was such a massive success, and an all round excellent film. The 2 that followed, while not having the same feel to them, were still pretty damn good. I will never get bored of the action scenes in reloaded. Agent Smith (Hugo Weaving) one of the greatest villains in film ever. This, is díře, an awful attempt to feed us nostalgia but fails, you'll only feel nostalgic thinking about the days when films just got made without catering to an audience and fear of twitter attacks. This generation is awful, and as a 26 year old, that makes me sad to say but this film really just reminded me how boring it's all becoming. I walked out after an hour and 14 minutes, it is truly, awful.Very up close shaky fight scenes that just looked terrible. A total mess. I felt like I was watching one of those spoof films like scary movie except without the dumb visual gags being purposely stupid and ridiculous. Far to satirical of itself and the previous films amongst other stuff for the sake of it which frankly I didn't care for at all!! I will watch South Park for satire, not a matrix film. I will forever like the original trilogy and how it ended and will pretend this never happened. A totally pointless film. I don't understand how any huge Sci-fi fan, and someone who loves the matrix films for their profound writing and awesome ideas, could ever say this was good. This whole film should have been a Saturday night live sketch. Way to turn your own creation into a piece of garbage. I just have to mention, Reeves, what is up with his acting really? What happened to Neo??? Not, how i want to remember one of my favourite charecters from a film. Neo, looked cool, Reeves suited the character, now it's John wick sleep walking. I hated this movie! If you played Path of Neo back in the day, let's just say that game added so much more to the matrix universe than this film did.

I love films where the main character and their severe problems are the subject and aren't afraid to make them unlikeable yet write them well enough that you end up having sympathy or are fascinated by them. This is up there with Bronson, Taxi Driver, The House That Jack Built, American Psycho, Joker although Arthur was somewhat likeable to begin with. Anyway another ballsy film filled with black humour and no hope, despite small glimpses shining through you know this charecter is just getting worse. Its a strange thriller and some genuinely horrifying jump scares. I loved it.

The worst film I've seen so far this year, and I'm never going to watch another M Night film, after Split I really thought he had moved on and changed and matured as a film director but it doesn't seem he has nor can. This film is basically the happening! Dialogue, acting, is all really strange. With some genuinely good films out there, nobody needs to sit through this and I advise strongly against it unless you like tortures cringe indulging nonsense. There's many arthouse films that are strange, I'm a big arthouse film person, love lars von trier, it's not just about it being strange in the sense of its different and unusual which can be interesting and if done right fascinating, no this is just strange in a really terrible way. Awful film which has made me want to boycott m nights films in the future. If you want to watch it to completely take the pi** out of it, then yeah go for it 👍

People have taken this film far to seriously. I don't think it was ever going to be a masterpiece, but I had more fun than I did with F9 🙄 I like cameos, film references, this film had a lot of it and it really appealed to the 10 year old in me. When they enter the matrix, it was beautiful 😂 Kids going to see it won't get half the inside jokes, especially references to Warner Bros which you'd have to have had been around at a certain point to really find funny, much like Back in Action in that regard which any early 2000s kid will remember that classic. . I dug this film, went for Looney Tunes, and got Looney Tunes and more. It was good, I liked it. Its also, a fun family movie, but I watched it with a different point of view and got a lot of enjoyment. This film relies on a lot of inside knowledge, depending on what you grew up watching and how many films you've seen, certain gags may not land. Its a nostalgia trip in many ways.

A top notch crime drama that packs one hell of a punch and is a whole lot of fun. Cool premis, all charecters, even side charecters are given time to shine and all have a story, the writing provides you with reasons to care about them, even the real villains. It's got an incredible story, raunchy, dark, great action and hilarious. A show worth the time, and I wish it was longer. Highly recommended.
