For the Bengali film industry, the return of Dev and Subhashree together was truly necessary. This pair represents the love of the audience, the lost childhood of a generation, and a unique emotion that is impossible to express in words. I will say just one thing — whenever Dev and Subhashree appeared together on screen, there was a special excitement among the viewers, especially during the wedding and kissing scenes between them, which carried a completely different kind of emotion. Now, coming to the main story — needless to say, keep a handkerchief with you, because this movie will make you cry. However, it feels as though the story has not really ended. I hope Dhumketu will return with a second part; otherwise, this tale will remain incomplete. And the most surprising thing — I couldn’t understand why Mamata Banerjee’s name appeared at the beginning of the movie or why special thanks were given to Rukmini Maitra. I would tell everyone — spend a little money and go watch the film in theatres. If nothing else, seeing Dev and Subhashree together again will not be in vain. My heartfelt best wishes to Team Dhumketu. 😇

The movie is really good. Nowadays in old age where parents are abandoned by many children.Standing there, an unprecedented presentation of such reality is truly admirable.Every actor and actress has given their best in the movie. Especially Mithun's work was very good. Ritwik-Shubashree as co-actors are really commendable.It is a family movie that can be enjoyed by everyone from kids to elders. For me this movie is one of the best works of Raj Chakraborty. Many things to learn about from it. I would say everyone must watch this one.

I don't know why people doesn't like the movie but i recently saw this. For me it was a Good movie. The story plot and characters are really talented. Bt yeah it could be done with a better script and some more comedy scene. Otherwise Rani's excellent performance and the new commers are really awsm and also the character of the little boy with jatayu. Sayf's act could be more better. I like this movie.
