Even though the story was about another time, it still sent a powerful message of our responsibility in life to defend and protect the oppressed. I don't care what anybody thinks. God is watching each one of us. The risks that Harriett made, forfeiting her own safety, I mean we only live so long in this world. What's the point if you just live for yourself, and die? While you're here, live with some purpose. The message to trust God is so strong in this movie.
