Adja was not deported ... whoever thinks she was is missing the last few minutes involving Lara and the processing of her passport which Lara somehow retrieved. Regardless this film wa s powerful in itโs subtlety and sparse dialogue yet emotional messaging through the charactersโ faces and body language ... one reason I love Icelandic films.
