*Spoiler Alert* I watched it with my mother today, we both wanted to leave in the first 20 minutes of sitting. Although the acting is great, but the story is a mess. I only liked the ending but that's it. The movie had a simple message but executed it in a confusing and messy way. I understood that the main character had generational trauma and wanted to fix her relationship with her daughter, but the movie plot made it too messy and hard to understand. I felt like I was on acid throughout the whole sitting. Instead of making the story too complicated, I believe that it would have been better to keep it simple, without changing to different universes to confuse the viewer. I felt uncomfortable for some scenes, they were unnecessary and strange, especially the scene with the sausage fingers. It felt awkward watching it with my mom, no wonder why the cinema was completely empty.

*Spoiler Free* Squid Game is a great show to binge watch at home. I didn't expect it to be so emotional and intense. After I finished the series, it has been stuck in my mind for weeks. I personally like most of the characters because they are very well-developed during the series. The production crew really put in a lot of effort for this show and you can even notice it on screen. The sets and design were amazing and haunting to look at. The colourful staircase looked like a modern piece of art. As a thriller fan, I really enjoyed this series. I was on the edge of my seat for every episode and I really had fun. My favourite episode so far is Episode 6, the acting was brilliant and I even cried 3 times while rewatching the series. The music was really good too, it can be frightening but calming at times. Overall, Squid Game is one of my favourite Netflix series. I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves thriller and survival shows.
