Brilliant unpredictable script

Prior to GOT probably had the most epic battle scenes on tv. Fascinating period of history well captured in Shakespeares Julius Caesar The squalid Roman streets and graffiti are recreated wonderfully and there’s lots of typical HBO gratuitous nudity and violence to satisfy most tv voyeurs. However bad performances and amateur script bring it down. Only Ciaran Hinds as Caesar is convincing, the rest are from B movies Watchable but missable too

Overlong and at times tedious docudrama building to the exciting and frightening explosion. Educational and fascinating science but could cut half the senate hearings -overrated

How did I miss this brilliant adaptation of Shakespeare’s history? Many purists have objected to the changes made, but it shows an intelligent appreciation of the original with judicious editing, maintaining the key themes.

Surprised at the bad reviews -obviously some challenging, weird, fetishised Violence and sexuality, but ultimately highly engaging and thrilling entertainment. doesn’t follow the usual narratives structure but references to Oedipal horror add great depth. eastern honour and cool ritual destruction of thuggery are a satisfying as any Tarantino film.

Poor attempt to achieve the same level of humour as first MIB but falling flat. Muppet style aliens just silly. Humour is first grade and script poor. Pawny gets all the best lines. Hemsworth usual hammy performance. What is Liam Neeson doing in this?! Bargain bin when nothing else available

All the right ingredients for a gripping drama, but the tension is lost by preposterous plot changes and shifting character in the protagonists. The link with drama on land provides a unique narrative and lead performances, apart from the hammy captain, keep you watching. Also interesting insight into trident operations and I had forgotten about CND! Not a patch on the bodyguard or line of duty

Slow with boring attention to irrelevant details. Not much happens for a long time and there is not enough tension and surmise to sustain this. Washington is excellent but not allowed to exhibit his usual flare. The outcome is unsatisfactory and highly unlikely. The exploration of guilt and police compromise morality maintained some interest. Disappointed but some class in the direction and performance after all.

started great, but slow loading trips; graphics amazing and responsive with joystick. Enjoyed it for a few weeks, then started crashing every time I loaded a trip. New computer with more than adequate RAM etc and Nvidia. quick response from MS but very complicated instructions to find out the fault- will have to pay IT spec- not happy.
