I cannot believe that I wasted my time on this odyssey. The only conclusion to be drawn is that it might mirror real life in the United States these days. Slime rises to the top. There is FBI colliusion to abet drug dealers. There are no good guys. There is no honor among thieves. And the subtle conclusion is that if you are an amoral, soulless, selfish person(s) you get to come out on top. The Byrds are disgusting, slimy, heartless criminals, who raise their two children to follow in their footsteps. A colossal waste of time. I can turn on the evening news every day and see the same nonsense.
