The story was ok, but it did lack energy and a great story ending. I didn't like how the trouble teen role was depict. Why can't a trouble teen or trouble adult receive help with building them back up, so they will not attempt the same bad habits that got them in detention and jail centers in the first place. I didn't like the fact that the trouble teen's sister had to play the role of sort of an out of control pre-teen who gets high with other children in foster care. This movie didn't have many positive vibes only the recreation of a sister bond. Why must we still create movies with African American father's murdering the children mother. This just don't shine a good light on the African American community. If it would have shown the teens going to therapy to resolve issues, teen going through some type of technical program where she could have been enter back into society with some type of dignity and pride, or even showing us that the sister manages to get her life back together and get her little sister out of foster care maybe the ratings would be better.
