Firstly, Alan Coventry, I cant tell if your being sarcastic or not, I mean Shirley you cant be serious?!
"Airplane" is one of the greatest parody films of all time. If you haven't seen it, I cant recommend it enough, and its a great movie to show your friends, and watch there reaction. Most of the jokes are puns that probably don't sound all that funny on paper, but the delivery is hysterical, and reminds you that, they really are clever. The rest of the jokes are site gags, and cruel anti-humor, some of witch probably wouldn't fly today for not being PC. Ounce again the performances are great, there hilariously, and even occasionally really touching, especially Leslie Nielsen, coming from a background in dramas, and this being his first comedy, he does all his lines completely straight faced, and it's unbelievable. Anyways Ill wrap this up and stop before I start rambling. Basically it all boils down to, a beyond funny, and iconic parody films, of Mel Brooks proportions, that everybody should see, go check it out
