In my books, one amongst the best ever Indian films.
It fluidly tells us about the problems which surrogate mothers face, n also explores the pervasive influence of patriarchy in the society- wherein the burden of moral piety rests solely on women.
The humour/sarcasm is absolutely fantastic!! Even in situations where typical films would had drowned down in the whirlpool of melodrama n sobbing....this one enlightens u abt the seriousness of the issue n once that purpose has been met - there is an instant metamorphosis into a light narrative with exceptionally good comic timing.
We all are aware abt the capabilities of Pankaj Tripathi, Supriya Pathak n Manoj Pahwa....in this flick, Kriti Sanon has matched these stalwarts.
