I love the apocalypse genre, and Zombie movies are some of my favorite. To read a book the combines not only my favorite genres but is set in the city I live in, creates such a convincing reality, as I could picture most places mentioned in the book. I enjoyed this book immensely and could relate to the characters much more than in books set in Europe and the America, which YA and NA usually are. I love this book!

Every decision the writer made in the book to develop her characters were blatantly discarded. The scenes were too rushed - also changed too much. Lucy is supposed to be an quirky over thinker and Josh is supposed to be uptight and arrogant - the movie reduces both characters to snobby, perfect-comeback spewing cliches. Important details that could have furthered the progression were left out. The voice-over in the beginning could have been benefitted through continuous narration of Lucy's thoughts throughout the movie and could have shown much conflicted she truly was.
