i watched this as background noise while i worked, I only clicked on it because it had naomi watts. i didn't even read the description. it was barely watchable background noise. she spends the entire movie making calls on her iphone and panting while she runs through the woods. i can't recommend against this movie enough.

i loved it. but i love weird westerns. :)

if you are looking for a movie that feels like a 1990 dean koontz book, and is a watchable pandemic time-killing flick, then this will do the job. if you’re looking for anything more elevated, you’ll be disappointed. i watched to the end and that’s more than i can say for a lot of netflix movies.

I would give this a negative review if I could. We watched about a half an hour of this navel-gazing, self-important drivel before turning it off. I find out now that we turned it off literally while the director himself was on screen playing a creepy inexplicable character. It’s clear he thinks he’s deeper and more interesting than he actually is.

was this a watchable netflix time killer? yes. was it good? no. the acting was bad. anne heche looks 60 and is supposedly the mom of a 10yo. nothing about the search was believable in any way. the end was vaguely interesting. watch it, because what else do you have to do, but don’t expect much.

i see on netflix a keanu reeves movie that’s “#7 today” so i think “how bad could it be?” THE ANSWER IS IT COULD BE ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE LOL. weird casting, bad acting, and a plot dreamed up by some sad guy going through a midlife crisis. don’t make the same mistake i made.

It sure tries, but sadly it's a confusing, boring mess.

I looked at the description and the cast, and thought it would probably be ok, but it would probably also be a B Team Melancholia... and then it was exactly that. I just don't think you should try to make a Lars Von Trier movie unless you're Lars Von Trier.

Beautifully made, has a lot of heart, and some genuinely funny moments... But the ending made me sad in a bad way. I don’t need movies to always have happy endings, but for some reason I really needed this one to, and I was just left feeling like it wasn’t “fair”.

I skipped over this movie for weeks because i’m not a fan of Kate Walsh. Just looking at the actors, to me it looked like if the creators of Grey’s Anatomy made a network TV space movie.... and that’s basically what it was. It was relatively predictable and didn’t break any new ground. BUT, that being said, as a way to pass the quarantine time, it was fine and I don’t regret watching it. I enjoy space movies that leave you with more questions than answers.
