Let me get this out of the way; I love Spider-Man. Whether you talk about the games, movies, comics, or other topics relating the Spider-Man world, I am there. So when I knew about the sequel to one of the PS4's best games, I was ecstatic... only to realize how short them game was. The game was still super fun, but was over too quick. Getting Spider-Man up to level 50 and grinding that EXP was amazing (pun intended) and made the game worth how long it was, including the spectacular (pun again included) DLC. This game is good for being only $50, but it felt like there was so much missing out of Miles's story that Insomniac could have added, but that does not mean they did not deliver on how great and ultimately powerful (yeah puns are getting out of hand) Miles's powers are. Being able to use the full power of the Venom power and his camouflage for amazing stealth takedowns was great. It just felt like there wasn't as much in this game. The first Spider-Man game had 8 bosses in the main game, some which you fight multiple times; and that isn't even including the DLC which focuses on everyone's favorite Mafia boss, Hammerhead. 9 bosses in one game including DLC. Spider-Man Miles Morales only had 4; Rhino, Rhino again, The Prowler and finally Tinkerer. You could say that Simon Krieger is a boss, but you never fight him. None-the-less, great game with a great story, it just needed to be longer if you spend 2 years making a sequel to an already ultimate PS4 game.
