While this movie embodied good themes, such as friendship, love, and character development, ultimately it fell flat. I very much appreciated the racial diversity, but I am lead to believe that the diversity is what got this movie any positive ratings at all. The acting was subpar at best, and the conflict between the initial male lead and the female lead seemed to arise from absolutely nothing, and was laughable. Props to this movie for making me rewind the "argument" to laugh some more because of its sheer ridiculousness. The plot line was a flop, and the final resolution between the love interests seemed one sided and forced. Overall, I love romantic comedies, and this does not fit the bill.
