This game is a great game. It might not stand up to the same "Remake Standards" to how well RE2 Remake was, with lack of some puzzles, enemies, and 1 boss.... But they did add some content to justify it's relationship to RE2 Remake, to make it feel like a wholesome experience. First playthrough, Nemesis's first form is absolutely terrifying. He doesn't let up. The creative choices they used for his later forms were not that great of a choice in my opinion to how he was in the original, but overall, still well designed and the detailing looked amazing for what its worth. The game shouldn't be looked at as "$60 new game". It's better to look at it as "$40 and a $20 multiplayer spinoff" bundled. Overall for RE3 Remake a solid 8.75/10. Higher than a 8, but just shy of a 9, which is where I personally put RE2 Remake at.
On another note, the origin series RE3 was a lot shorter gameplay than RE2 was initially. When it was in development, it was suppose to be a side story of Jill during the time of RE2. The true sequel was Code Veronica starring Claire Redfield. Unfortunately, Sony and Capcom was in contract for 3 numerical titles to the series on the Playstation. While Code Veronica was being developed on the Sega Dreamcast.
