Hamish Patel delivers a lovely performance as a down on his look singer songwriter whose friends are loyal, add in the Beatles music and the world forgetting who they are made me excited to see this film, I'm a fan of Danny Boyle and Richard Curtis has a great track record with feel good films but this film is a mess, the story is not focused and Lily James who is the love interest and chief cheerleader is given nothing to do except smile or cry and at one stage they made her the villain, Love the Beatles music but Richard Curtis with all your experience have done a terrible jod
