Thank god for the acting! This is an interesting well acted brilliantly made movie. The characters are horrible people made out to be heroes, and it makes for a very complex story. But for the love of god, give me back at least an hour of my time. This movie is painfully long, and that is insane considering how great this movie is in some respects. I could watch some three hour movies over and over again like the Godfathers. The problem is a lot of the added length in this movie is just truly wasted time with little impact on the meat of the story. Still if you have a day where you have absolutely nothing better to do it is a great movie with some great historical angles as well.
