Honestly, this is the closest Hollywood has ever come to making a real Punisher flick. It's a down and dirty B-action yarn with lots of violence, dark humor, great action scenes, a relentless pace, and a body count that rises by double digits every scene. Dolph Lundgren may sometimes struggle with his accent, but his Frank Castle is true to the spirit of the iconic Marvel Comics vigilante. A hard-driving, gritty, occasionally campy movie - in short, the best Punisher movie by a mile.
