I had zero expectations going into this movie and highly enjoyed it. They separated it from the animation and made a great movie that followed that basic story line of the original but with a modern twist. Loved the effects and the way the movie flowed.

This movie was so disappointing. They took out the best parts of the animation and failed to make a movie that was good.

If you take it as pure fiction it isn't a bad movie. However it is the most historically inaccurate live action redux that Disney has done to date. I would have enjoyed this movie if Disney had tried to make it closer to real life or set it in modern times. The dogs were done poorly. This was one of my favorite movies growing up and it just was so disappointing all the way through.
