With nods to both Jerry Goldsmith's original Alien score and Mark Streitenfeld's Prometheus, this score is a combination of the best of both worlds. Lush orchestral themes are juxtaposed with synthesized, unnerving sounds, giving the Xenomorphs their own disturbing quality, to go along with the gorgeous orchestral music for Planet 4, which they are infesting (thanks to David). This is a good listen, but not a particularly easy one.
