Disappointing. I was interested in knowing more about his relationship with his lover and muse. Sadly what we get is a long narrative of Cohen’s career. If you are a fan you already know all about it. It’s well documented. His romance with Marianne almost takes a secondary place. And the coverage is shallow. Maybe there wasn’t enough information out there that could have helped Broomfield tell their story on a deeper level. A nice try but no cigar.
