This show is my current obsession. I watched it on a whim a few weeks ago and loved it so much that I watched it another time right after and then immediately bought the books. I'm almost done reading the books, but the show which was adapted from the first two books did such a great job at adapting the characters and the story into live-action. There are a few changes like any book to show adaptation, but the changes were really well done and they do not bother me whatsoever. (I highly recommend reading the books, they are such a good read and I have loved every minute of it.)

It is honestly one of the best shows I've seen in a long time. The music is amazing and the storyline is very unique and uplifting. If you don't believe my rating, you should check the rotten tomato score, and their 13 Emmy nominations, which the show won three of. Really hopeful that it'll get renewed for a second season. I have literally watched this show 100 times. I'm very disappointed with Netflix for not renewing this fan-favorite and beloved show. If anyone sees this and you want a second season, keep requesting Netflix to renew it, and keep watching it. If it gets on top 10 there's a chance it could be renewed. Also, sign at least the main petition out there which currently has around 164,000 signatures. If we make enough noise we might be able to get our show back. <3
