Had such a fantastic time at this film on opening night. Watched the original (for probably the 10th time in my life, the night before). The original, naturally, can not be beaten. But as long as you love the original and understand that going in, this film was fantastic. I would have loved more choreographed, ghost possessed dancing but I guess you can't have everything you want. It would have been nice to see Geena Davis and Alec Baldwin, even just the tiniest cameo. Michael Keaton didn't bring as much energy to Beetlejuice, everyone's favorite demon, the Ghost with the Most, baby, as he did in 1988, but he is still good as this semi-villain, afterlife icon. However Winona Ryder, Catherine O'Hara and Jenna Ortega bring their best to this movie and you will have some much laughs and cheers. My favorite movie of 2024 so far.

Truly enjoyed this film. Great cinematography. Especially enjoyed Jill mourning her husband through the bed canopy. The performances by Jason Robarbs and Henry Fonda leave an impression that sticks with you. Claudia Cardinale was exactly right for Jill and had the stunning looks. Music score had highlight moments and the story keeps you interested right up to the finale.

The best movie I have seen since Everything, Everywhere All At Once. Fantastic cinematography and performances. Loved both the main Kens and Margot Robbie nails it. Outfits are especially wonderful. Insightful and funny. All mothers and daughters should go.

Venom 2 was excellent. Love the character development on Venom. Tom Hardy slayed both characters and Anne is great too.
