The film was different in the time it was released. Good performances by all most everyone in the cast. apart from the story, made the film a light entertainer...The novelty of the story ensured that both the Tamil and Hindi remakes were also box office bonanzas...It also spawned "Seeta aur Geeta",which were remade in Telugu and Tamil, in turn.....Of course "the improbability" of such themes vis a vis reality is always there... But then you don t ask questions pertaining to logic in the case of commercial cinema...
